The Trinity Baptist College Men’s Basketball Program has a long tradition of excellence.  Over the years, the program has won the NCCAA Regional regular season and/or tournament championships in 1988, 1989, 2013, and 2014, as well as several Bible College NIT Championships.  More important than this on-court success is the success of our graduates, who have gone out to represent Christ as pastors, missionaries, businessmen, teachers and coaches.
Trinity sponsors two teams which both compete for a national championship in their respective divisions.  The NCCAA team is Trinity’s varsity level program.  This team competes in the National Christian College Athletic Association at the Division II level and has conference membership in the South Region.  The team also competes against NCAA Division 1 and Division 2 institutions such as Jacksonville University, University of North Florida, and Flagler.  Trinity has finished each of the last two seasons as the 5th and 6th ranked team (respectively) in the NCCAA national poll.
The NIT team serves as a developmental program for the NCCAA team.  The NIT plays a competitive 18-game schedule and competes annually at the Small Bible College National Invitational Tournament every February.  The Eagles NIT team is led by TBC Athletics Hall of Fame member Patrick J. Milligan, and has won the national tournament four times… 2006, 2009, 2012, and 2014.
