Judy Allen

As a second year head coach at Duval Charter HS, Coach Allen led the team to a dramatic improvement from the first year, winning over 60% of their games this season.  Before that, she coached for seven years at Andrew Jackson High School. They held titles for Gateway Conference, District and Regional Champions, and a trip to Florida High School Basketball State playoffs.

Coach Allen Co-Founded and is Co-Director of the Triple Threat Y.E.S. program, which was founded on the vision of developing scholastic aptitude, athleticism, social skills, talent, character, and dreams of at-risk youth.  A concentrated effort is placed on instilling the values of Faith in Christ, education, leadership, discipline, diligence, commitment, teamwork and sportsmanship. The Triple Threat Y.E.S program is the home of the Lady Sparks of Jacksonville.  The Lady Sparks compete in various exposure events and AAU tournaments.  The program has been an AAU State Finalist, won the USSSA State Championship, the YBOA State Championship, and the PAL State Championship. Coach Allen has helped scores of young people attend college through the efforts of the Lady Sparks program.

Coach Allen is a native of Jacksonville, FL.  She was able to see much of the United States with her husband Kenny and their six children during his 22-year military career in the Air Force.  She is active in her local church and is passionate about sharing her faith in God with young people.  Coach Allen attended Minot State College and will pursue additional educational opportunities at Trinity.
