TBC Eagles Volleyball hosted St. Johns River State College Monday night as the Eagles prepare to enter a South Region-laden portion of the schedule throughout the next few weeks. St. Johns won the match in straight sets with scores of 25-6, 25-13, and 25-12.

Destiny Green, Charity Braemer, and Gena Ingram picked up two kills each, and Natalia Lopez and Kayla Bass led the Eagles with eight and seven digs, respectively. Braemer, Ingram, and Maggie Bourgholtzer each dug some balls off the floor while Green (3), Bass (2), and Ingram (1) helped with blocks at the net.

The Eagles will play three of their next four matches against South Region competition, beginning with Pensacola Christian College at home on Saturday, September 29. A home game with Trinity College of Florida will follow on October 5, and a South Region match at Johnson University of Florida will occur on October 13. In between, Jacksonville’s Edward Waters College visits Trinity on October 12.
