TBC Eagles Women’s Soccer played host to Warner University Thursday afternoon, and Jennifer Jeffery saved 15 shots on goal. Trinity, however, was unable to penetrate the visiting Royals defense, and Warner came away with a 3-0 win.

Jeffery stopped 15 of 18 shots on goal to set a new team record as Warner maintained an offensive attack for the duration of the game. Jeffery saved 8 shots on goal in the first half and 10 in the second.

Kazeira Odoms had two shots on goal in three attempts for the Eagles, and Nia Rocourt had one. Warner’s defense, though, was extremely tight, making it difficult for Trinity attackers to set up opportunities.

Warner connected for one goal in the first half and two in the second to lead to the final score. Betina Gerhardt connected midway through the first half, and Denise Ortiz scored in both Minutes 49 and 55.

Trinity will next play NAIA Webber International University at home on Friday, October 12. South Region opponent Bob Jones University will follow on Thursday, October 18 — also a home game — and Grace Bible College visits Trinity on Saturday, October 20.
